What we collect, why we collect it, and what we do not do with it.

Hitting 2.0 LLC ("Hitting 2.0", "we", "us") is a baseball instruction business in Auburn Hills, Michigan. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and through the course of providing lessons, and how we handle it. We keep this short because our data practices are genuinely simple.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you submit the contact form, email, call, or text, we receive what you choose to send — typically a name, email address, phone number, and details about the player such as age and experience level. When you book and pay for a session, we receive the booking and billing information required to process it.
Training video. During lessons we record video of the player's swing. This is training material, created so the player and their family can see progress and compare sessions over time.
Basic technical information. This site runs on Wix, which records standard visitor analytics — such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and general location — so we can see how many people find us and which pages they read. Wix and our booking and payment providers each set their own cookies to make those features work. We do not sell this data, and we do not run our own advertising or retargeting pixels.
How we use it
• To respond to your inquiry and schedule sessions.
• To process payment for services.
• To deliver instruction, including sharing a player's own video and swing data with that player and their parent or guardian.
• To send occasional updates about programs, availability, or camps — only if you asked for them, and every such message includes a way to stop receiving them.
What we do not do
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We do not sell or license a player's video, photograph, or swing data to anyone. We do sometimes post session footage on our own website and social media to show the coaching work we do, and we never publish a player's full name alongside their image without a parent's permission. You can ask us at any time to keep your athlete out of anything we post — see the media section of our Terms & Conditions.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of outside services to operate: Wix as our website host, a scheduling and payment processor, and an email provider. These providers process information only as needed to perform their function, and each maintains its own privacy policy. Payment card details are handled by the payment processor and are never stored by us.
Children's privacy
Most of our athletes are minors. This website is directed at parents and guardians, not children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child. Bookings, communication, and consent all run through a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has submitted information to us directly, contact us and we will delete it.
How long we keep information
Contact and booking records are kept as long as needed to run the business and meet tax and recordkeeping obligations. Swing video is kept so progress can be compared over time; you may ask us to delete a player's training footage at any time.
Your choices
You can ask us to correct or delete the information we hold about you or your player, ask what we have on file, or unsubscribe from any updates. Email hitting2.0bball@gmail.com or call 313-478-3086 and we will take care of it.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, including using reputable hosting and payment providers. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes
If this policy changes we will post the revised version here and update the date at the top.
