Terms & Conditions

The agreement between Hitting 2.0 and the families who train with us.

Last updated: August 15, 2026.

These terms apply to the use of this website and to baseball instruction services provided by Hitting 2.0 LLC, a Michigan limited liability company operating in Auburn Hills, Michigan ("Hitting 2.0", "we", "us"). By booking a session or using this site, you agree to them. If you are booking for a player under 18, you confirm that you are that player's parent or legal guardian and that you accept these terms on their behalf.

Services

We provide baseball hitting instruction: private sessions, team sessions, multi-session packages, and hybrid in-person plus remote programs. Session content, drills, and progressions are determined by the instructor based on the athlete's needs. We make no guarantee of any particular athletic outcome, statistic, roster spot, scholarship, or advancement. Skill development depends heavily on the athlete's work between sessions.

Booking and payment

• Sessions are confirmed once scheduled and, where applicable, paid for.

• Published prices are for instruction and cage time. Package and hybrid pricing is quoted individually and confirmed in writing before it begins.

• Payment is due at or before the time of service unless a package arrangement says otherwise.

• Prices may change; a change never affects a session or package already paid for.

Scheduling, lateness, and cancellation

Cancellation and refund terms are set out in full on our Refund Policy page, which forms part of these terms. In short: please give at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule without charge. Sessions start at the scheduled time, and time lost to a late arrival cannot usually be added to the end.

Assumption of risk

Baseball and baseball training carry inherent risk of injury, including from thrown balls, batted balls, swung bats, pitching machines, and athletic movement. You acknowledge these risks. You confirm that the athlete is in adequate physical condition to participate and has no medical condition that would make participation unsafe, and you agree to inform us of any injury, restriction, or medical condition that is relevant to training. Athletes and guests follow facility rules and instructor direction at all times.

Supervision of minors

Parents and guardians are responsible for their athlete before and after the scheduled session. We are not a childcare provider and cannot supervise athletes outside their session time. Please arrange drop-off and pick-up accordingly.

Video and photography

We routinely record video during sessions as part of instruction. This footage belongs to Hitting 2.0 LLC and is shared with the athlete and their parent or guardian for their own use.

We may use footage and images from sessions, including recognizable footage of an athlete, on our website and social media to show the coaching work we do. We do not publish an athlete's full name alongside their image or video without a parent's or guardian's permission.

If you would prefer your athlete not appear in anything we post, tell us in writing at any time — before or after the fact — and we will honor that going forward and remove the material we control. There is no cost, and it does not change the instruction your athlete receives in any way.

Video and instructional material we provide is for the athlete's personal development. Please do not resell it or present our instruction as your own coaching product.

Conduct

We expect athletes, parents, and guests to treat the instructor, the facility, other athletes, and the equipment with respect. We reserve the right to end a session or decline further service, without refund for time already used, for behavior that is unsafe, abusive, or disruptive.

Equipment

Athletes should bring their own bat, batting gloves, helmet, and appropriate footwear. Personal equipment is brought at your own risk; we are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property. Damage to facility or instructor equipment caused by misuse is the responsibility of the athlete's family.

Website content

The content of this site — text, images, logos, and the Hitting 2.0 name and marks — belongs to Hitting 2.0 LLC or is used with permission, and may not be copied or reused commercially without our written consent. The site is provided as-is; while we work to keep pricing and details accurate, we do not warrant that everything on it is free of error at every moment.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Michigan law, our total liability arising out of or relating to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific session or package giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Oakland County, Michigan.

Changes

We may update these terms; the current version is always posted here with its date. Continuing to book sessions after a change means you accept the updated terms.
